Welcome
to The Village Booksmith,
south-central Wisconsin's premier source for
quality used books, including rare, out-of-print, and hard-to-find
titles. We feature extensive collections of popular fiction,
mysteries, and science fiction, along with shelves dedicated to
regional and world history, art, nature, religion, cooking, poetry,
pets, travel, and much, much more! Visit the stage to browse
our
children's books, which range from board books for toddlers to antiques
from decades past. It's all too much to describe here, so
please
stop in for a visit.
We have fresh coffee or tea, lots of comfy chairs,
and a friendly golden retriever waiting for you!
As the cultural center of downtown Baraboo, we also offer frequent
events--almost always free!
Poetry? Quiz Night? Bloomsday? Toast of the Town?
Surrealist Night? Music?
